Our Return Policy

You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with all tags attached
  • Items must be in their original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Ondergoed & sokken (Underwear & socks)
  • Nachtkleding (Nightwear)

This policy is in place to protect all our customers and maintain the highest hygiene standards.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:

Step 1: Contact Us

Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with the following information:

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear Pier One Team, I would like to request a [return/exchange] for my recent order #[Your Order Number]. Step 2: Wait for Instructions

Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with:

  • Return authorization
  • Shipping instructions
  • Return address

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Please ensure:

  • Items are in their original condition with tags attached
  • Original packaging is used when possible
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip

Step 4: Processing Your Return

Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and process your refund or exchange within 3-5 business days.

Refund Information

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after processing
  • PayPal payments: 3-5 business days after processing

Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of incorrect or defective items.

Exchanges

If you need a different size or color:

  1. Follow the return process above
  2. Clearly indicate in your email that you want an exchange and specify the new item details
  3. Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item

For exchanges, you’ll only be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs if applicable.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

International Returns

For customers outside the Netherlands:

  • Please clearly mark the package as “RETURNED GOODS” to avoid customs charges
  • Pier One is not responsible for any customs fees or import taxes incurred during the return process
  • International returns may take longer to process due to customs clearance
